Keep in mind the year Antique Roadshow made the appraisal as it does impact value. Also as someone who has appeared on Antiques Roadshow (but not for a purse, I got on with a sterling silver vanity set) Antique Roadshow tends to give values based on retail (New York, Los Angeles and Miami) or insurance replacement value. This can skew higher than the competitive prices achieved on eBay during a down economy.
