Antique 20th Century German Solid Silver Diamonds & Sapphires Minaudiere Purse C1900

Antique early 20th Century German Solid Silver Minaudiere / Purse, richly gilt, the cover is engraved with a stylized dandelion set with diamonds and sapphires, oval form, compartments and mirror inside, removable pencil, the back of the mirror is mounted with a faux Ivory plaque for making notes. Each clasp is set with sapphires cabochons.

Original chain which can be connected to the pencil, the piece is in perfect condition, is extremely precious and features a stunning quality. Hallmarked probably German silver (935 standard, very high silver purity), and is stamped "STERLING SILVER PLATA WÜST 935". It dates to year 1900-10.
