Figural Frame – Leather Bag

The leather snakeskin body is a later addition to the frame, no idea when it was added. The interior is white leather, with a pocket. I am assuming there are markings - somewhere underneath the black body which is (likely) glued to a padding and then the frame. The exterior of the bag is sewn to the frame. Push-down clasp. I bought this purse because I love the Art Nouveau frame. It looks like lovers - the figure on the right appears to have masculine features, the figure on the left more feminine features and they are holding hands in the center. The center cartouche has engraved initials.
