German Beaded Bag

Bag by Jacob Wilhelm Fehrle, Schwäbisch Gmünd. Fehrle (1884-1974) was a well-known German painter, draftsman and sculptor. His beaded bag designs for the local industry are peculiarities, only a few copies were made. The bag is now with the descendants of the artist. The company Gmünder Perl-Industries has the bag as #617 in the 1926 sales catalog for $ 9.
