Hunt Scene Reticule

Hunting scenes were a popular theme for beaded purses in the 19th century and into the early 1900's.  This purse highlights the hunting of deer & pheasants.  Pine trees and the dark background give the feeling of hunting in the forest.  It's hard to tell if the bottom of the purse is ducks or a pinwheel design.
