Lindberg & Plane Beaded Purse

This beaded on canvas purse was made circa 1930's.   On May 20–21, 1927 Charles Lindbergh made the first nonstop flight from New York to Paris, a distance of 3,600 miles, flying alone for 33.5 hours. His aircraft was the Spirit of St. Louis.  It was the longest transatlantic fight at the time by nearly 2,000 miles, the first solo transatlantic flight, and set a new flight distance world record.
