Lorelei Figural with Harp

Micro beaded figural, this depicts Lorelei.  The legend of Lorelei, a German folktale, tells of a beautiful maiden who, heartbroken over a faithless lover, transformed into a siren who lured sailors to their doom with her enchanting song, ultimately causing them to crash on the rocks near the Lorelei rock on the Rhine River.
