Micro Beaded Figural

Micro beaded figural purse. This purse was by Julius Frankl.

Design description is from Sabina Schurenberg: The man is holding a stick decorated with flowers (roses).  This kind of stick indicates that the man is coming on behalf of another man who wants to marry this woman. Usually he comes to the parents' house and presents his request. If he is invited to dinner, his request was heard. The name is wedding bitter: the one who asks for a wedding. This is still very common in the country: in Germany, Austria and the Balkans. Today it has more to do with folklore. Her posture shows that she is shy and rather negative. She doesn't know how to act. She seems surprised.
