Petit point purse, double-sided figural.  The front scene appears to be a city square, to me the women seem to be dressed in Spanish garb.  The men are wearing breeches, tights, and hats.  Two children on the left side of the scene.  The scene on the back is more casual, it's an outdoor scene.  Women by the campfire - this is the first petit point purse I've seen that includes a campfire.  Men are carrying bags and packages along a path.  Mountains & trees, lots of foliage.  

The interior contains a Jolles Original Petit Point booklet and a large petit point (front) compact.  The back is metal.  I don't think this compact was original to the purse: it seems too large and doesn't match the purse scenes.  This purse is in pristine condition.
