Solid Silver Gilt Minaudiere Dog Purse C1910

Antique 20th Century German Solid Silver Minaudiere / Purse, richly gilt, both sides embossed with a dog, compartments and mirror inside, removable pencil, the back of the mirror is mounted with a faux Ivory plaque for making notes. The eyes of the dog and each clasp is set with sapphires cabochons.

Original chain connected to the pencil, the piece is in perfect condition and features a stunning quality. Hallmarked German silver (900 standard, very high silver purity), Maker's mark LK (Louis Kuppenheim, important jeweler and silversmith, very sought after). It dates to year 1910-1920.
