Souvenir of the North African Campaign

Buying souvenirs for loved ones was unusual during World War II. Soldiers in areas that had been secured would trade for souvenirs that they would then send back home. This purse from North Africa 1943 was acquired by Captain E. M. Lobdell. Inscribed "All my love to my beloved wife."
